Lorraine
Mumaw lives in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She and her siblings watched
every genre show around. If the show had science fiction or fantasy
elements, they loved it and most they watched with the blessings and
active participation of their parents. Lorraine, however, also liked
Westerns. Many of Lorraine’s favorite shows were canceled before
their time, which left an itch she could not satisfy until she
discovered fan fiction, and fanzines in the eighties. Her first
fandoms were British shows like Blake’s Seven and Dr Who, but she
soon expanded to American shows.(Far too many.)
Her
interest in Lancer began when the show was first aired. Lancer, along
with The Quest, Laredo and Wagon Train, was one of her favorites. When
she discovered Karen’s site, she was ecstatic. Soon that led her to
several lists, and to her first online posting.
Lorraine
has written in many fandoms, ROS, Hercules, TLG, Equalizer and
Highlander, among others, but never a western. This is her first foray
into that genre.
Lorraine
works for a Honda dealership as a bookkeeper, a job she never would
have envisioned while she was enjoying herself earning an Anthropology
degree in college. For herself, she belongs, and is very active in the
Masonic fraternity, the Order of the Eastern Star, and writes and
reads fan fiction.
