LaraineVan Etten, author of “I Know You’ll Always Be There” and “Afternoon Delight,” resides in Fort Walton Beach , Florida , with her husband Ken and son, Steven, and works as an Administrative Assistant to the City Clerk.  She is active in the Chamber of Commerce and MainStreet organizations, as well as the PTA.  In her spare time, Laraine enjoys “catching the rays” on the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast , as well as traveling, dancing class, and spending quality time with her two guys.

Laraine enjoys reading and writing “Lancer” fiction; she has a particular love of the subject!  She has fond memories of the 2004 Convention; meeting all the wonderful ladies and sharing in the fun.  And of course, in meeting James himself.  She plans on attending in 2006, and will be there “in spirit” this year.
