JANET BRAYDEN

Janet Brayden was born in Concord , MA and resides in her home town of Maynard approximately 25 miles NW of Boston.  Her love of cowboys dates back at least 36 years when she saw her first Roy Rogers and Gene Autry movies on WMUR TV out of Manchester , NH before the existence of cable tv.  As a child she adored watching Rex Trailer's Boom Town .  Mr. Trailer, a real Texas raised cowboy, was mentored by the late great George "Gabby" Hayes and was idolized by thousands, if not millions, of children in the Boston area for over twenty years.

Janet is a thirty-one year member of the Maynard Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary to Post 1812 and a member of Mission Evangelical Congregational Church where she is the Clerk, Library and, by default, the Historian as well.  She has served as the registrar for the church's annual Vacation Bible School for many years.

She is employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Concord , MA as a supply technician and has worked for the corps for twenty years.  She is active in her Auxiliary, her church and works as a volunteer at the Maynard Public Library on Saturday mornings during the fall and winter months when she can.

Janet is Aunt Janet to four and Great-Aunt Janet to one.
