Fay is married with four sons aged 13 to 20. She lives in a northern beachside suburb of Perth , Western Australia , with her family and Rex, their Jack Russell wonder dog. She is Head of Department of Languages in a senior high school and has taught forever.

Nearly three years ago she stumbled onto the Lancer sites due to the kindness of e-pals Brenda ( Virginia ), Julia ( Melbourne ) and Ros (Brisbane). The Lancer sites and fan fic have since provided much needed R & R and escape from the treadmill of work. They also provided motivation for her epic travels with Ros in the USA in 2004. She has made many friends on the internet and had the pleasure of meeting many of them at the Lancer Convention in 2004. She was also appreciative of the way that James Stacy made such an effort to be so accessible, so friendly and so gracious at the convention’s brunch. She is bitterly disappointed not to be able to make this year’s convention and wishes attendees all the very best for a successful and enjoyable time.
