Faith (Marang) Brayden was born in Terra Haute, Indiana September 5, 1930.  When she was about two years old her parents moved to Tulsa and then to Oklahoma City , Oklahoma.

She came north to Massachusetts upon marrying Donald Brayden in June of 1946.  She's the mother of four - one now deceased, and grandmother to three boys and one girl.  her granddaughter is about to make her a great-grandmother.

Though somewhat disabled now she enjoys reading the Lancer fanfic, writing poetry, writing letters and reading other materials such as Janette Oke's pioneer romances, Al Lacy's Journeys of the Stranger, Gilbert Morris' House of Winslow series.

She's a former member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and had attained the rank of Auxiliary President and District President before dropping out for personal reasons.  She's a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church in Acton , MA where she serves on the Missions Committee as she is able. 

 She still resides in Maynard, with her daughter Janet, and has for the past 59 years.
