BUTTERCUP

Considered short by some, however my feet hit the floor just perfectly fine, thank you.  Though we do have to crawl on the counter to get to the top cupboards in the kitchen.  Thank goodness I hate cooking and spend very little time in there.  Have four kids, all of whom I've home schooled, though the oldest is now going to be a junior in college, and daughter, Amberlyn, is starting college in the fall.  Still have an 8 year old and a 13 year old at home.  Fell for Lancer back when I was about 9 or 10, and adopted Johnny Lancer immediately as my big brother.  It wasn't until Amberlyn happen to see a couple of episodes I had managed to get taped off TV that the search for anything Lancer-related began.  We joined the Lancer group back when it was just a handful of people, and have enjoyed the camaraderie ever since.  A huge highlight was making it to the very first convention last year, and having the wonderful opportunity to meet Mr. Stacy.  Amberlyn, who is a co-writer in my stories, has the distinct honor (which she never lets me forget) of having been born in King City , which isn't far from where the original pilot was filmed.  I enjoy writing, and did a lot of it back when I was in middle school and high school, however I hadn't done much recently until Amberlyn decided she wanted to try to do a Lancer story.  So, using Lancer as a setting for a home school writing project, we forayed into the land of fanfic and have been having a ball with it ever since.  Our stories are set up to take place immediately after the series ended and are chronological in order.  Since they tend to be what some consider a bit long, they are generally broken up into chapters/episodes.  If I had one wish, it would be to be able to write and direct Lancer, as I can't imagine anything more fun that being able to tell everyone where to go and what to say.  If Amby had one wish, it would be to set Lancer to music and choreograph it into a ballet!
